2016 MLK Afternoon of Celebration


On Monday, January 18 from 1:00-3:00 pm, Kidsbridge celebrated Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his legacy by partnering with the Historical Society of Princeton, Christine’s Hope for Kids, Sheltered Yoga and GLSEN Central NJ.

This year’s free afternoon featured the theme of “Nourishing the Mind and Body.” Unlike last year’s MLK event which was held in the Tolerance Museum, the backdrop for this year’s special day was the Historical Society of Princeton’s Updike Farmstead.
