Kidsbridge was honored to host Ms. Edith Savage Jennings in the Tolerance Museum on April 25, 2014. A pioneer in the civil rights movement, Edith Johnson Savage Jennings has been involved in numerous national, state and local political campaigns and has been a friend, advisor, lobbyist and fundraiser for numerous community, civic and service organizations.  A personal friend of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Ms. Jennings lived through the civil rights movement and continues to be a social change maker today.  Those of us that were privileged to hear the stories she shared with the group that day will always remember her strong conviction regarding equality, discrimination and what is right and fair.
