Winners Announced for the Third Annual Character Education Leadership Awards

For the third year in a row, partners Kidsbridge and ESS | Source4Teachers sponsored the Character Education Leadership Awards. School employees throughout the state of New Jersey were encouraged to nominate fellow educators who, in their opinion, go “above and beyond” to combat bullying, celebrate diversity, and spread the values of respect and tolerance in their classroom, school or district.

The top three winners for 2017, as determined by a panel of community leaders, included:

1st place: Mr. Matthew Persico, Hoboken Charter School Teacher — nominated by Principal Elizabeth Niesz

2nd place: Mr. Timothy Campbell, Princeton High School Teacher — nominated by former students Priya Vulchi & Winona Guo

3rd place: Mrs. Linda Patterson, Califon School Nurse — nominated by Principal Dan Patton

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. And thank you nominators for taking the time to recognize the wonderful efforts of your coworkers and colleagues.
